We are open the 2nd Saturday of the month from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m.

The only exception is November which we're open the 1st Saturday

Welcome to the Mecosta County Genealogical Society Website.

We are now offering a Pioneer Certificate for those who are direct descendants of pioneers in Mecosta Co. prior to December 31, 1899. Deadline dates for applications are June 1 and December 1. You will be contacted shortly thereafter about a presentation date or you may receive them after that date by mail if you are unable to attend.

Currently the Society is working on indexing everything they have. Volunteers and donations are always welcome. The quicker this gets done, the easier it will be to do lookups.

Meetings are held the third Wednesday of the month from May to October at

Anyone interested in Genealogy is welcome and invited to attend.
